As planning begins, CivicsNJ is inviting schools, nonprofits, community groups, faith-based organizations, libraries, colleges, businesses, and other stakeholders to indicate their interest in organizing a civic education or engagement activity on October 27, 2026. At this stage, we’re simply seeking to identify organizations that may want to participate. There is no need to commit to a specific activity yet. CivicsNJ will provide guidance, and additional resource information to participants as planning moves forward.
We designed the day to recognize and elevate civic engagement happening in our communities. Whether through education, service, arts and culture, media, wellness initiatives, or nonpartisan voter engagement, organizations and schools across New Jersey are helping residents become active participants in shaping stronger communities and we want you to get involved!
